Manifatto may act expeditiously to respond to a proper notice by (1) removing or disabling access to material claimed to be subject of infringing activity; and (2) removing and discontinuing service to repeat offenders. If Manifatto removes or disables access in response to such a notice, Manifatto will make a good-faith attempt to contact the allegedly infringing party ("Member") so that they may make a counter notification.

Refund & Cancelation Policy

For Buyers

In general, each seller on Manifatto sets their own policies regarding returns and refunds. These policies should be displayed in each seller's Shop Policies page in their shop. As a minimum requirement a seller accepts to use these terms:

Refunds and Exchanges

We will refund or exchange unworn/unused items returned in the same condition as they were sent provided we are contacted within 7 days of delivery, and the item is returned to us within 21 days of delivery. Our cost for of delivery however will be deducted from the total refund amount. The item/s must first be sent back in their original, unworn/unused condition and then we can organise the exchange. We also do not offer refunds on made to order or customised pieces which have been personalised to suit your requirements.

We will refund or exchange any faulty item within 28 days of delivery, including postage costs.
To arrange a return, or if the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please email quoting your name and address, details of the product, the reason for return and whether you require a refund or replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. please note mark as “returned to sender”" on package as we will not be responsible for U.K customs duty.
For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing and be in an unworn condition. We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show obvious signs of abuse. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at their own cost.

In the event that there is a problem with an order, the first step is to always contact the seller directly.

For Sellers

As a seller on Manifatto you are expected to clearly state your policies about returns and refunds in your Shop Policies page. These policies are also expected to fall in line with Manifatto's Guidelines. These policies let buyers know how you, as a shop owner, manage and run your shop - including how you’d handle any issues or problems with a transaction.

If you do encounter a problem with a transaction, it’s best to contact the buyer directly via Conversations. Buyers are also encouraged to contact you, as the seller, if they experience any issues.

Please keep in mind that in these situations Manifatto acts only as a venue to offer, sell, and buy certain unique goods, vintage items, and supplies.
In other words, Manifatto provides the marketplace but isn’t directly involved in transactions between individual buyers and sellers.
For this reason, if you’re having difficulties with an order on Manifatto and trying to work directly with your seller or buyer isn’t working, you can file what’s called a “case.”

The Case System

The case system on Manifatto is a platform where buyers and sellers work together to resolve their issues. If necessary, Manifatto's Trust & Safety team can help in bringing a dispute to a conclusion.

Please note: If a buyer does not formally file a case, Manifatto cannot get involved.
